Daniel Powter丹尼尔•波特
Daniel Powter was born in 1971 in British Columbia, Canada.As a young child he was hit by a car, which left a scar onhis head. To cover the scar he wears a beanie hat, which hasbecome a trademark. He travels with at least 40 beanies whenon tour. He studied music at Edmonton's Grand MacEwanCollege. However, after two years, he moved to Vancouver.At first he lost himself in the music scene to drugs and music,and was addicted to cocaine for almost eight years during the1990s, however, he has been clean since and is bent on trying tomake sure no one else makes the same mistakes he did. Danielreleased his first single, Bad Day in early 2005. It debutedwithin the top five in most European countries and toppedthe radio airplay charts *C then repeated the same in Australia,the U.S. and his Canada. He then released his first, self-titledalbum. The second single from the album, Free Loop, will bereleased in November.
